IEEE WIE Ottawa, reflecting the collaborative spirit, joined hands with IEEE WIE Carleton University to deliver the Interview and Networking Workshop. The event marked the WIE teams’ efforts to help prepare the students for their upcoming interviews. The event had been well planned and carried out in two stages. Anastassia Gharib, the chair of IEEE WIE Ottawa, wins the 2019 IEEE Canada Women In Engineering Prize. The purpose of IEEE Canada Women In Engineering Prize is to recognize excellence in young women engineering professionals and to support the Women In Engineering programme within IEEE in Canada. One prize each year with the value $1,000 is awarded.
