IEEE WIE Ottawa chapter has been privileged to host the three-part Professional Development Series. On March 7th we had the Resume building and LinkedIn profile management workshop by Ms. Sherin Nilam, Career Counselor. It was a fun-filled interactive workshop where the participants were walked through the steps and tricks in building a perfect resume. On March 13th we had the online talk on Job search from a Recruiter perspective hosted by Ms. Anna Mathew, Human Resources Coordinator. Anna shared her experience on how recruiters short-list candidates and the best practices to get selected for their dream jobs. And on March 14th we had Mr. Tegbir Singh, a Data analyst at GHD talk about the post-pandemic job market and shared his experience and insights on how to land your dream job in this new environment.
