Anastassia Gharib recognized for outstanding contributions and services to IEEE Ottawa Section in 2020

With immense pride, IEEE WIE Ottawa is happy to announce another great achievement of our Chair – Anastassia Gharib, who has been recognized by the IEEE Ottawa Section for her outstanding contributions and services to IEEE Ottawa Section in 2020.

As the Chair of IEEE WIE Ottawa, Anastassia has been constantly engaged in conducting various workshops, seminars, and events throughout the year. Even with the ongoing global pandemic, she has been working with her team and other IEEE affinity groups in conducting online talks and webinars. Nothing has stopped Anastassia from serving the community with absolute dedication. On previous Thursday, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of IEEE Ottawa Section took place virtually, in which Anastassia was awarded the certificate of recognition for outstanding contributions and services to IEEE Ottawa Section in 2020. 

It is an honor for the IEEE WIE Ottawa team. Once again, Anastassia sets an example of a wonderful leader. #IEEEWIEOttawa
