IEEE WIE Ottawa, reflecting the collaborative spirit, joined hands with IEEE WIE Carleton University to deliver the Interview and Networking Workshop. The event marked the WIE teams’ efforts to help prepare the students for their upcoming interviews. The event had been well planned and carried out in two stages. Professionals and hiring managers from various engineering backgrounds provided guidance and feedback to students. The event was completed in two phases, the first phase governed an interview Q/A session, and the second event was a heads up on making the right impression in a networking event. WIE has constantly tried to be at the forefront in providing the best resources to the students to excel in their professional careers. This workshop proved to be a platform to provide exposure to budding professionals. The remarkable success was marked as more than 30 attendees participated.
